Makati Life Fun Run 2026 Guidelines

To ensure a safe, organized, and enjoyable Fun Runexperience for all participants, kindly take note of the following guidelines:

General Guidelines
  1. All participants are required to download the Strava mobile application prior to race day. The application will be used to track and validate the participant’s registered running distance and moving time. Recorded results will serve as the official basis for verification by the Human Resources (HR) Team.
  2. Participants are encouraged to wear a white shirt during the event to signify unity and support for the cause.
  3. All participants must complete the registration process on-site by signing the official attendance sheet prior to the gun start. Only registered participants shall be eligible for participation, race validation, and awarding.
Race Loot Bag
  1. The first one hundred (100) pre-registered participants shall be eligible to claim an official race loot bag.
  2. Loot bags may be claimed at the HR Booth located at the Grand Lobby upon successful registration and attendance confirmation.
Race Proper
  1. The official Gun Start for both 3KM and 5KMcategories shall be at 5:30 AM.
  2. All participants are required to assemble and officially begin the run at the Makati Life Medical Center (MLMC) Façade
  3. The official running route will be as follows:
    MLMC Façade → Ayala Avenue → Ayala Triangle Gardens → Return/Loop back to MLMC Façade (depending on registered distance category).
  4. To ensure proper guidance and safety along theroute, designated MLMC point persons/route marshals wearing official MLMC shirts will be stationed along key areas of the course. Participants are encouraged to follow and acknowledge these marshals for proper direction and assistance throughout the run.
  5. Participants must ensure their Strava isproperly set before starting the run:
    a.     Tap “Record” and “Start” beforebeginning
    b.    Ensure GPS/location services are enabled
    c.     Tap “Finish” immediately upon completion of the registered distance
Awarding and Recognition
  1. All finishers are encouraged to return to Makati Life Medical Center for the Awarding Ceremony and Program scheduled at 7:30 AM.
  2. The Top Three (3) Finishers per Category shall be recognized based on the fastest recorded moving time reflected in their validated Strava results.
  3. The decision of the organizing committee and validation team shall be deemed final.

Reminders

  • Participants are advised to stay hydrated and observe proper safety precautions throughout the event.
  • Participants are encouraged to arrive early to avoid delays during registration and race preparation.
  • By participating in the event, participants acknowledge and accept the guidelines set by the organizing committee.
