In addition to comprehensive medical care provided by General Physicians, Makati Life Medical Center is home to a diverse range of specialist doctors, ensuring that patients receive personalized and expert care across various medical fields. Current specialties include Cardiology, Dermatology, Diabetology, Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), Endocrinology, Family Medicine, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Geriatrics, Hematology, Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Nephrology, Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-Gyne), Orthopedics, Pediatrics, and Pulmonology, Urology.

As the hospital continues its expansion and becomes fully operational, it is set to grow into a healthcare hub with over 800 doctors across multiple specialties housed within its Centers and Medical Arts Building (MAB). This expanded roster will include experts in Aesthetic Surgery, Anesthesiology, Critical and Intensive Care Medicine, Pain Management, Industrial and Occupational Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Nutrition and Dietetics, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Psychology, Radiation Oncology, Rheumatology, Rhinology, Sleep Medicine, Sports and Physical Medicine, and Urology.

The hospital will also offer highly specialized subspecialties such as Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Andrology, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Colorectal Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, Endourology, Hepatology, Laryngology, Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Surgery, Nuclear Medicine, Oncologic Surgery, Otology, Reconstructive and Sexual Medicine, Trauma Surgery, and Vascular Surgery.

What services are available after the blessing?

After the opening and blessing of Makati Life Medical Center, the hospital is currently undergoing a hospital-wide disinfection in preparation for May 8, 2025, when it officially launches its expanded healthcare services to better meet the unique needs of patients. The existing 24/7 Outpatient Department (OPD) will shift its focus to primary care services. Meanwhile, the Heart Station, Radiology Department, Laboratory Department, and Pharmacy which is currently under the umbrella of 24/7 OPD will transition into larger service centers to accommodate more comprehensive offerings and serve a greater number of patients. The hospital will also introduce new specialized service centers, including the Center for Emergency Medicine, Surgical Care (with delivery and birthing services), the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and an Admission Unit.

24/7 Outpatient Department. Features general practitioners and family medicine doctors available round-the-clock to cater to the primary care needs of the patients. The center also provides initial consultation and issuance of medical certificates. As the hospital becomes fully operational, the center will also include in its pool of services preventive and therapeutic programs such as vaccinations and an animal bite center.  

Heart Center. Features essential heart care procedures such as 2D Echo, ECG, 24 Hour Heart Monitor and comprehensive cardiovascular procedures such as Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Hybrid OR which will be available soon as the hospital becomes fully operationalized. Heart Center is currently catering to patients from 6AM to 8PM, from Monday to Sunday with specific days and hours depending on the servicing unit. Eventually, the Heart Center will offer cardiovascular programs for heart disease prevention, management and recovery.

Center for Radiologic Sciences. Features gold standard and advanced AI-powered diagnostic imaging procedures, from essential x-ray to comprehensive ultrasound, 3D mammogram, MTI and CT scan. Center for Radiologic Sciences is currently catering to patients 24/7, with specific days and hours depending on the servicing unit.

  • X-Ray (Radiography)- 24 Hours, Monday-Sunday
  • General Ultrasound (Sonography)- 6AM-10PM, Monday-Saturday
  • OB Ultrasound (Obstetric Ultrasound)- 8AM-5PM, Monday-Saturday
  • CT-Scan (Computed Tomography)- 6AM-10PM, Monday-Saturday
  • MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)- 8AM-6PM, Monday-Saturday
  • 3D Mammogram (Digital Breast Tomosynthesis)- 8AM-5PM, Monday-Saturday

Center for Pathology and Laboratory. Features a broad range of diagnostic services, from routine tests to specialized evaluations. These include clinical chemistry, hematology, histopathology, immunology/ serology, microbiology, molecular laboratory testing, drug testing and blood bank services. The Center for Pathology and Laboratory is open 24/7, with specific days and hours depending on the servicing unit:  

  • Blood Bank (Blood Station)- 24 Hours, Monday-Sunday
  • Clinical Chemistry- 24 Hours, Monday-Sunday
  • Hematology-24 Hours, Monday-Sunday
  • Histopathology - 8AM-5PM, Monday-Saturday
  • Immunology/ Serology- 24 Hours, Monday-Sunday
  • Microbiology- 6AM-10PM, Monday-Sunday
  • Molecular Laboratory (COVID Laboratory) - 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday
  • Drug Test -8AM-3PM, Monday-Friday
  • Morgue- 24 Hours, Monday-Sunday


Pharmacy Services. Features round-the-clock support to patients' recovery through therapeutic solutions providing branded prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, controlled substances, and medical supplies to cater to your unique needs whether for inpatient and outpatient care.  

Center for Emergency Medicine. Features over 20 beds designed to handle urgent and emergency cases, open 24/7. It includes separate treatment areas for pediatric and adult patients, as well as dedicated spaces for observation and specialized care. The center is committed to providing fast and accurate assessments and interventions for medical emergencies and life-threatening conditions. All care is delivered by a highly trained emergency response team supported by advanced medical technology for seamless, real-time data monitoring—enabling early diagnosis and preparation even before the patient arrives.

Surgical Care Center. Features 18 state-of-the-art operating rooms on the second floor. Starting May 8, 2025, an initial three operating rooms will open to accommodate major surgical procedures, along with one dedicated room for labor and delivery. The center also includes a High-Risk Pregnancy Unit (HRPU) for expectant mothers with pre-existing medical conditions or complications arising during pregnancy. Operating rooms are equipped with advanced technology that allows for comprehensive patient monitoring, both on-site and remotely.

Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Features a total capacity of 57 beds, categorized into Medical-Surgical ICU, Special ICU, Pediatric ICU, Outborn ICU, Coronary Care ICU, and Telemetry ICU, open 24/7. Starting May 8, 2025, the facility will initially open 10 ICU rooms designated for newborns, pediatric, and adult patients. The ICU features cutting-edge bedside data displays for a comprehensive view of patient status. ICU also uses intelligent alarm management to detect and flag abnormalities, which clinicians can monitor through local displays and digital platforms. For enhanced patient comfort, ICU rooms are equipped with smart mattresses and circadian lighting that mimics natural light cycles to support biological rhythms. Another unique feature of the Makati Life’s ICU is the inclusion of family rooms directly connected to patient rooms, recognizing the vital role of family presence in the healing process.

Inpatient Care Services. Features over 300 inpatient beds spread across the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and 14th floors, open 24/7. Room options range from ward-type accommodations to private rooms and suites. All inpatient rooms are equipped with a nurse call button system that enables both audible and visual communication between patients and hospital staff. Starting May 8, 2025, an initial 60 beds will be open at the ward area.

Is the Stress Test Treadmill available?

Currently, Makati Life Medical Center offers essential cardiovascular tests under its Heart Center located at the ground floor but will soon transition to the 4th floor. The services include Echocardiogram (2D Echo), Electrocardiogram (ECG), 24-hour Blood Pressure Monitoring, Carotid Ultrasound, and Vascular Ultrasound.  


As the center expands, Makati Life Medical Center will bring more comprehensive cardiovascular programs including Stress Test Treadmill and more comprehensive procedures which will focus on heart disease prevention, management, and recovery programs.

Do you have Breast Ultrasound?

Center for Radiologic Sciences of Makati Life Medical Center, located on the ground floor of the hospital, currently offers advanced imaging services such as 3D Mammography, which provides layer-by-layer images and is considered the gold standard for breast cancer screening and diagnosis. Breast Ultrasound will soon be available as the hospital finally becomes operational.

Is there a canteen?

Currently, Makati Life provides snacks and food for patients at the 24/7 Outpatient department through food carts roaming around the hallways of the outpatient department.  As the hospital becomes fully operational, Makati Life Medical Center will provide food services for patients admitted to the hospital's wards. Meals will be tailored to meet patients’ unique dietary needs, guided by licensed nutritionists, dietitians, and an experienced chef to ensure that the food served to patients is both healthy yet flavorful, and visually appealing. For staff and medical personnel, the cafeteria will also be available, serving a variety of food items. Food concessionaires will also be available within the hospital, offering healthy and satisfying food options for patients, family members, and hospital staff.

Is an ATM machine available?

As Makati Life Medical Center becomes fully operational, Security Bank Philippines—the hospital’s partner bank—will have a dedicated space in the hospital lobby to provide convenient access to banking and monetary transactions, including ATM for patients, visitors, and staff.

Is there a signal or free Wi-Fi?

As the hospital becomes fully operational, reliable connectivity will be available across all 16 floors of Makati Life Medical Center. Meanwhile, Wi-Fi access is currently limited to hospital staff and the medical team.

What are the benefits of the Yellow Card?

As a partner hospital of the City Government of Makati, Makati Life Medical Center supports patients' healthcare needs through the Yellow Card program. This medical assistance initiative allows eligible patients to receive medical services, either free of charge or at a significantly reduced cost.

Are there parking spaces for patients?

Currently, patients can utilize almost 50 parking spaces located at the two different entrances of the hospital: Located at the Metropolitan Avenue entrance and Malugay entrance. As the hospital becomes fully operational, more parking spaces and expanded areas will be available, providing smoother entry and exit.
