Dr. Cristobal is a compassionate physician with 6 years of experience in family and community medicine. A graduate of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, she served as a rural health physician in a remote municipality in Bicol through the Doctors to the Barrio program of the Department of Health. She completed her residency in Family and Community Medicine and a subspecialty in Supportive, Hospice, and Palliative Medicine at East Avenue Medical Center.Her passion for family and community medicine began after witnessing the unmet need for primary care in the barrios. Realizing the vital role of family physicians in achieving Universal Health Care, she pursued further training. During residency, she saw firsthand the gaps in care for patients with life-limiting conditions, which inspired her to specialize in palliative medicine—bringing comfort, dignity, and support to patients and families during the most challenging times.
